Employment Law For Employees…

Don’t Suffer In Silence

If you are an employee and you believe you have been treated unfairly at work, ideally you should seek to resolve the matter with your employer. However, if this relationship has broken down or you are unclear of your rights, it is important to seek specialist legal advice from us at Simpkins & Co Solicitors as soon as possible. If you have a problem at work it is best that you find out where you stand. The laws governing the rights of workers are very complex, and have recently changed, giving extended rights to employees. There are new rules on minimum wage, pensions, holiday and sick leave, maternity and paternity rights, agency workers and equality.

As specialists in employment law you will find the team at Simpkins & Co Solicitors to be friendly and approachable, guiding you through the maze of your legal entitlements at work, and advising on the best course of action to take. If we find that your employment rights have been breached, we will work with you and your employer to seek a conciliatory resolution before making a claim through an employment tribunal.
